The alkaline foods are always having low in fat and calories, easy to digest with numbers of health benefits. The fruits which are alkaline in nature must necessarily be the part of our daily diet for better health.

Health Benefits of Alkaline Diet :- Before going to the benefits of alkaline foods we must understand that, what is alkaline foods? For this we must know the types of foods.
When we divide the categories of food , we place it in three groups
1. Acidic Group :- It is a group which includes those foods ,which when digested leaves behind the acid ash residues . The acid ash residues are major cause of stomach distress.
This group includes the food like meat, fish, poultry, dairy products, eggs and alcohol etc.
2. Alkaline Group :- It is a group which includes those foods, which when digested leaves behind the alkaline ash residues. This group includes the fruits like grapes, mangoes, apple, pears, guava, banana and many more fruits, vegetables and legumes etc. which are beneficial for over all wellness of health.
3. Neutral Group :- This group includes natural fats, starches and sugar etc.
Now we have a knowledge about the groups of food, then the question is which group we should include in our daily intake?
The answer to this question as per experts advice is that any single group can't support our body system. So our food plate must have the foods from all the above groups but in right proportion suitable for our body system. Which in other words we should have a balanced diet.
So to select the right proportion for blending from all food groups we must understand our gastrointestinal system.
When we eat , the meals undergo through gut and our gastrointestinal system secretes gastric acid, which helps in the breaking down the meal, all this process support our digestive system. During this process the gut has to maintain a pH balance between 2 to 3.5 which highly acidic but for the smooth functioning of our digestive system it essentially required. But when the blend of food proportion in our plate gets imbalanced and proportion of unhealthy foods which are acidic like French fries, Pizza, Samosa, Kurkure , burger, meat,eggs and other similar foods goes high the acidic level in our body gets eccentric causing acidity and other gastric problems.

Now the question arises that what is the necessity of alkaline foods? The answer in simple words is that when the volume of acidic foods go high in our dish it causes health problems, hence to rectify our food dish, it requires addition of alkaline foods.
